Miles is great! We were moving from out of state and searching in the west suburbs to the Dekalb area. Miles was the only realtor we found who was knowledgeable about the whole area, and he was amiable about helping us find the right location and house for us in this large search area. Miles was always available to help us! When we found the right house for us he helped get us a better deal then we would have on our own and navigate the process through close. Miles used his contacts to schedule the inspection quickly so that we could be present for it before we had to leave town. Also we were looking for a house right before some of the seller’s agent realtor rules were changing and Miles was able to answer questions about the rule changes and didn’t pressure us to sign a contract since it wasn’t required yet. Miles works to find out what’s important to you and will help you with what you need. I wish we had found Miles sooner so he could have helped us even more!

After interviewing several realtors, we hired Matt Kombrink based on the initial interview and researching his sales stats. Within 48 hours of putting our house on the market, Matt brought us a buyer with a great offer (above list price and quick closing). A couple weeks before closing, we ran into a potential problem with the home inspection negotiations. Matt and his team did a great job helping us navigate through the process, getting the situation resolved in our favor, and closing earlier than scheduled. Although Matt is the leader of a very busy and active team, he was always the one who answered the phone when we needed to talk to someone about the transaction. Matt and his team are professional and responsive. The marketing materials (print and digital) prepared for our home were fantastic. Beautiful photos, a stunning video, and a nicely arranged brochure which highlighted the home's features. Matt gave solid pricing advice, and he and his team were very easy to work with. Our home had a contract within about 6 weeks from listing with Matt, after having been on the market with another agent for 18 months. It's an unusual home, so having the right buyer come along is key, but the fresh photos and marketing strategy seemed to do the trick. I would highly recommend Matt, Chris and the rest of the team.

I really enjoyed working with the Kombrink team. They made every step of the selling process easy. Called Matt on a Sunday and he was at my house within a few hours to look at it. Had a meeting a few days later to go over specifics and decide on a price. Just made everything easy. If I called with a question he would get right back to me. As for showing the house, I decided to go out of town since there were over 50 showings in the 4 days the house was on the market. The team would even make sure the lights and doors were locked at the end of the day since I wasn’t there. As for figuring out which offer to take Matt gave me his opinion and reason for it, but in the long run it was my decision. All I can say is it was a very smooth process.
